We’re delighted to announce that Serve the City Galway have officially launched! Late last week, the O’Toole family set out to litter pick around the churchyard of the historic St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church in Galway towncentre. After noticing the rubbish in the churchyard and having a chat with some of the leaders about the challenges and hazards of maintaining a 700 year-old church building in a bustling towncentre, the O’Tooles decided that it was a great way to kick things off for Serve the City in Galway.

Of course, it’s only the beginning! If you have any friends, family, or colleagues in Galway who may be interested in serving the needs of marginalised or vulnerable people and speaking hope into the community in practical ways, be sure to get in touch with Serve the City Galway using the following address: tim[at]servethecity.ie. Not only will they be looking for volunteers, but they will also be looking to partner with other charity organizations to explore opportunities to serve.
From all of us here in Dublin, Go Team Galway!
